Lausanne is the fifth city of Switzerland, the capital of the canton of Vaud and the administrative centre of the district of Lausanne. Very open to the world, it is easily accessible, being only 40 minutes from the airport of Geneva-Cointrin, 3h40 from Paris and 3h20 from Milan with the TGV, it is also close to all of the European capitals thanks to the motorway network which serves it by three junctions.
